Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to develop and manage the quality system. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily workflows, ensuring product quality, and preparing quality reports. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, supervisory skills, and a good understanding of ISO 9001. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily workflow and resource allocation within the QA department.
  • Support the QA Manager to ensure the products meet quality specifications.
  • Communicate quality standards and performance metrics to the teams.
  • Identify and analyze recurring issues and recommend actions.
  • Prepare and review First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Overview

The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for developing the organisation's quality system along with the QA Manager. The Senior QA Engineer will also take part in quality investigations, impact analysis, and first-article inspection processes. He/She will oversee the technical library, ensuring the Quality Management System (QMS) and Training Manual are updated.


Responsibilities


  • Oversee the daily workflow and resource allocation within the QA department

  • Support the QA Manager to ensure the products meet the required specifications for quality and conformance standards

  • Communicate quality standards and performance metrics to the QA and production teams

  • Identify and analyse recurring issues, defects, and process gaps and recommend corrective and preventive actions

  • Prepare and review First Article Inspection (FAI) reports in a timely manner

  • Perform other related duties and strategic initiatives as assigned by the management team


Requirements


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Good understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and processes

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal team and stakeholders

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in related field

  • Supervisory experience
