Job summary

ENGGSOL PTE. LTD. seeks a commissioning specialist to oversee the systematic startup of marine and electrical systems on-site. You will coordinate with OEM, supervise现场 commissioning activities, and ensure adherence to Class and quality standards throughout the process.

The role requires understanding of Marine/Electrical & Automation schematics, strong planning skills, and the ability to manage safety and documentation, including weekly safety briefings and comprehensive records.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture/Structural/Marine/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related studies.
• Preferably 3 years of working experience in a similar capacity.
• Knowledge of Class requirements & Quality Standard requirements.
• Familiarity with Marine/Electrical & Automation Systems Equipment schematics & arrangement drawings.
• Adequate Computing Knowledge using Microsoft Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all construction activities are completed prior to commissioning.
• Plan deployment of workers to fulfil the commissioning schedule.
• Prepare procedures and guidelines for systematic commissioning and start-up of equipment.
• Initiate and manage commissioning by coordinating between the company and OEM.
• Audit work site regularly and ensure proper housekeeping.
• Supervise onsite commissioning activities.
• Coordinate work with other trades.
• Prepare and maintain commission records of site observations, testing processes and checklists.
• Track and review progress through HAT meetings and attend progress meetings.
• Ensure safety and precautionary requirements are followed during the commissioning process.
• Compile and update commissioning reports/records.
• Assist with identification and resolution of commissioning and malfunction issues.
• Review tools and equipment for safety and efficiency; initiate procurement if required.
• Develop and update risk assessments and conduct weekly on-site safety briefings.

• Highlight operational issues with regards to machinery and equipment.
• Ensure that OEM meets the Contractual agreement accordingly.
• Audit work site regularly and ensure that proper housekeeping is adhered to.
• Supervise onsite commissioning activities
• Coordinate work with other Trades
• Prepare and maintain commission records of site observations, testing processes and checklist.
• Track and review progress through HAT meetings.
• Attend progress meeting to keep up status and close issues with customers.
• Ensures that all safety and precautionary requirements and procedures are followed during the commissioning process.

• Access the requirements of special tools and equipment required for commissioning and initiate procurement if required.
• Review the tools and equipment used for Safety and Efficiency.
• Develop and update RA accordingly and enforce on-site and conducted weekly safety briefing with supervisors and workers

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture/Structural/Marine/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or other electrical/offshore/electronic related studies.
• Preferably 3 years or more of working experiences in similar capacity.
• Knowledge of Class requirements & Quality Standard requirements
• Trade Dependent.
• Must be able to understand Marine/Electrical & Automation Systems Equipment related schematic & arrangement drawings
• Knowledge and skills in Marine/Electrical & Automation systems equipment's operational requirements.
• Adequate Computing Knowledge as well as use of Microsoft Office and e-mail.
