Job summary

STMicroelectronics PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Senior PVD Process Engineer to develop, qualify, optimize, and sustain tungsten deposition and etch back processes on AMAT Centura platforms. You will focus on process stability, yield improvement, equipment matching, defect reduction, and robust production support in a high-volume semiconductor fab.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of process experience in Thin Film and tungsten deposition/etch back.
• Experience with AMAT Centura tool family for deposition and etch back.
• Knowledge of metrology, DOE, and process characterization in semiconductor fab.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize tungsten PVD deposition and etch back processes on AMAT Centura tools.
• Perform DOE-driven optimization for film properties, uniformity, and step coverage.
• Monitor metrics like film thickness, Ufi, defectivity, yield and tool matching.
• Support tool qualification, process qualification, and product transfers.
• Troubleshoot excursions, tool events, particle issues, and compatibility concerns.
• Collaborate with equipment, integration, yield, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
• Analyze metrology and inline data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain process documentation, control plans, and SOPs.
• Support preventive maintenance and chamber matching.
