Job summary

Singapore Public Service is seeking a Senior/Public Health Officer to protect the health of Singaporeans by reducing the burden of communicable diseases through evidence-based policy formulation, implementing and overseeing disease prevention and control programmes, including epidemiological surveillance programmes and timely outbreak response and management.

Qualifications

• Preferably a background in Pharmacy, Life Science, Medical, Nursing, Public Health or Epidemiology.
• 2-3 years work experience in public health would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skillsets.
• Ability to work under pressure and simultaneously on different projects.
• Excellent organisational skills and resourcefulness.
• Good inter-personal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across disciplines.
• Willing to work beyond office hours, especially during outbreaks.
• Continuously keep up-to-date on new developments in the communicable diseases field.
