A government agency in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of its buildings. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in facilities management. The role requires strong vendor management and communication skills. Preferred certifications include Licensed Electrical Worker and Fire Safety Manager. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operations of URA’s buildings and facilities. You will provide space planning, as well as management of building works/facilities, M&E systems, contractors and stakeholders. You will supervise and manage contractors in fulfilling their contractual obligations and ensure smooth operation of the buildings; and ensure that preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for all building works, M&E equipment and systems are carried out on schedule and in compliance with relevant regulatory and organisation’s requirements.
