Job summary

Job description
What the role is:

The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operations of URA’s buildings and facilities. You will provide space planning, as well as management of building works/facilities, M&E systems, contractors and stakeholders. You will supervise and manage contractors in fulfilling their contractual obligations and ensure smooth operation of the buildings; and ensure that preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for all building works, M&E equipment and systems are carried out on schedule and in compliance with relevant regulatory and organisation’s requirements.

What we are looking for:
  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline with at least 5 years of experience in facilities management and operations. In the alternative, candidates without a degree should possess an additional 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledgeable in building operations and maintenance works, Authorities’ requirements and current code of practices
  • Experience in formulating and implementing maintenance policies and procedures, and strong vendor management skill
  • Strong communication, problem solving, written and interpersonal skills
  • Certification as Licensed Electrical Worker, Fire Safety Manager and/or Green Mark Accredited Professional will be an advantage
