Senior Project Manager - Transformation Office (2 year contract)
As a Senior Project Manager within the Strategic Transformation Office, you will play a pivotal role in driving enterprise-wide transformation and process excellence. You will partner closely with business leaders, technology teams, and external consultants to translate strategic goals into actionable initiatives. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong project management expertise, adept at managing complex, cross‑functional programmes, optimising processes, and ensuring that transformation projects deliver measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Partner with business and functional stakeholders to define strategic objectives, capture detailed requirements, and identify areas for improvement; analyze current‑state processes, design future‑state models, and establish structured project management frameworks to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Solution Design and Validation: Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to design digital or process re‑engineering solutions that address business needs; develop robust business cases and cost‑benefit analyses to support executive decision‑making and prioritisation of transformation initiatives.
- Project Management and Implementation Support: Oversee end‑to‑end project delivery, including planning, tracking, and reporting against key milestones, KPIs, and budget; drive governance and risk management frameworks to ensure successful execution and benefit realisation.
- Stakeholder Management and Communication: Act as a strategic bridge between business units, IT, and leadership to ensure alignment and effective communication; present concise project updates, reports, and transformation roadmaps to senior stakeholders, fostering engagement and buy‑in.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing complex, cross‑functional transformation projects in large organisations.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a structured, data‑driven approach.
- Demonstrated experience in process re‑engineering, digital transformation, or business improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and relevant tools.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to influence at senior levels and drive consensus in a matrixed environment.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field; postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
