Job summary

A leading nature conservation organization in Singapore seeks an IT Project Manager to drive digital transformation projects, including the management of the Enterprise Data Platform and Customer Identity Access Management System. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature‑based experiences, green public spaces and an eco‑friendly resort.

The Group provides funding and in‑kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.

Mandai X is the growth accelerator and venture building arm of Mandai Wildlife Group that sparks, catalyses and accelerates innovative ventures in completely new domains that drive growth and impact at scale.

We are seeking a highly driven individual to join the IT Project Management Office and contribute to the rejuvenation of our parks and transform Mandai Precinct into an integrated nature and wildlife destination.

Reporting Deputy Vice President of the IT Project Management Office, the candidate will have the opportunity to take part in managing digital transformation projects from planning to operation that include the design, specifications development, procurement, to working with the vendor in deploying the solutions and eventually be part of the team that oversees the continuous operation of the Enterprise Data Platform, Customer Identity Access Management System and Integration Middleware.

Main Duties
  • Project Management of digital transformation projects supporting Commercial and Financial line of business, consisting of Enterprise Data Platform, Customer Identification Access Management System, Customer Data Platform, Mobile Marketing Automation, Hybrid API Gateway, Enterprise Service Bus.
  • Act as internal consultant to provide solutioning to address business needs, and manage solution delivery based on business requirements, cost, and schedule.
  • Work closely with the users and project team members to gather business and users’ requirements and translate the requirements into tender specifications.
  • Manage end‑to‑end tender preparation and procurement process including source, evaluate, short‑list vendors (solution, products and services) to meet business objectives and operation needs.
  • Work closely with the business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within time, scope and budget, and in achieving business outcomes.
  • Partner business stakeholders and work closely with project team members to set up the Data Governance Committee to deliver a robust and scalable data analytics framework to drive organization excellence and create differentiated experiences for our guests.
  • Manage a team of vendors to implement the Enterprise Data Platform in Microsoft Azure and on‑premise databases.
  • Implement Customer 3600 solutions like Customer Identity Access Management System and Customer Data Platform.
  • Responsible for managing day‑to‑day operation and support, contract, and vendor management in meeting service level agreement.
Requirements

Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent. Project Management related certification such as CITPM, COMIT, PMP and Agile Scrum Master will be highly valued.

Minimum 5-8 years of experience in managing Enterprise Data Platforms, Customer Identity Access Management Systems and Integration Middleware, with extensive implementation experience managing medium to large‑scale digital transformation projects.

Exhibit experience in understanding of business drivers and commercial frameworks and work with Business Owners to derive data strategy to analyse trends and provide business intelligence for the improvement of Mandai’s operations.

Experience in handling sensitive, confidential, PII information in large data systems.

Ability to understand complex landscape and changing business needs, and process strong problem‑solving capability in a holistic approach.

Able to work well under pressure, last‑minute changes and tight deadlines.

Able to work collaboratively with multiple teams working in different modules and technologies.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to manage C‑Suite and VP‑level stakeholders.

Excellent analytical, organizational and presentation skills

Strong vendor and people management skills.

Domain knowledge in travel & attractions, hospitality, retail industry and/or financial services is highly beneficial.
