Job description

Our client is a Tier 1 Contractor with a strong construction portfolio in large infrastructure projects. In light of a recent project win, they are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee full cycle delivery of sizeable infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle including planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports; ensure effective cost control and value engineering.
  • Establish and monitor detailed project schedules, identifying critical paths and mitigating potential delays.
  • Act as the primary liaison with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal management, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder alignment.
  • Enforce compliance with quality assurance procedures, workplace safety standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively throughout project delivery.
  • Provide timely and accurate progress reports, presenting updates to senior management and clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • PEB / Chartered Engineer status preferred.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of construction management experience, with at least 5 years in a project management or leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale civil, infrastructure, or structural projects (e.g. roads, bridges, utilities, or mixed-use developments).
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, project planning tools (Primavera, MS Project), and contract administration (FIDIC / PSSCOC).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
