Senior Project Manager – Construction & BIM Lead

Job summary

PERSOL is seeking a senior Project Manager to lead major construction projects from inception to completion in Singapore. You will drive tendering, budgeting, and adherence to PQP while coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Lead development of construction methodologies, manage KPIs, and mentor project teams to deliver on time within budget. This role focuses on quality, safety, and value engineering across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• 8+ years of experience managing large-scale construction projects.
• Experience on mixed-development or commercial building projects.
• Familiarity with authority submissions and regulatory standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledgeable in Building Information Modeling (BIM).

Responsibilities

• Uphold core values and project excellence throughout all phases.
• Engage in tendering processes with relevant departments as directed by senior management.
• Assume overall project management responsibility after securing contracts.
• Develop Project Construction Methodology for top management approval, including planning methods, sequences, manpower and equipment.
• Collaborate with project manager and teams to finalize construction budget for approvals.
• Review and ensure adherence to the Project Quality Plan (PQP) throughout the lifecycle.
• Set and monitor KPIs for projects and staff.
• Supervise monthly progress reports prepared by project managers.
• Oversee site operations ensuring health, safety, environment and quality standards.
• Lead value engineering and cost-saving initiatives, authorize site purchases/rentals.
• Attend meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors to foster collaboration.
• Conduct joint site inspections to address performance issues.
• Provide mentorship to project teams ensuring regulatory compliance and client requirements.
• Maintain records to support variation orders and project finalization.
• Foster team cohesion and positive working environment.
• Ensure a Project BIM Execution Plan aligns with corporate strategy.
