Job Purpose
Steer complex EPC/EPCM projects through all phases—front‑end engineering (FEED), detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning—while safeguarding schedule, budget and quality.
Key Accountabilities
1. Project Planning & Mobilization
- Lead development of FEED deliverables: Basis of Design, PEP (Project Execution Plan), PSSR (Pre‑Start Safety Review).
- Establish WBS, RACI matrix and master schedule (integrated across design, procurement, site).
- Onboard consultants, vendors and key subcontractors; ensure contract terms align with scope and risk allocation.
2. Execution & Performance Monitoring
- Coordinate internal and external interfaces: technical disciplines, construction, logistics, client teams.
- Chair weekly progress meetings, oversee action‑item closure, track Earned Value and schedule variance.
- Manage budget forecasting: monthly cost‑to‑complete, estimate at completion (EAC) and change‑order management.
3. Quality, HSE & Compliance
- Verify that QA/QC plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs) and non‑conformance reports (NCRs) are implemented.
- Monitor HSE KPIs to ensure site compliance with Permit‑to‑Work and WSH regulations.
4. Stakeholder & Client Management
- Serve as primary client interface: attend design reviews, variation meetings and management of change (MOC) workshops.
- Maintain high client satisfaction (≥8/10), manage expectations and resolve escalations
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Eng or BSc in Engineering/Construction Management; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- 10+ years in EPC/EPCM project delivery with at least 3 years as lead PM on multi‑discipline projects.
- Hands‑on experience in FEED, HAZOP (Hazard and Operability study) facilitation and commissioning.
