Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee major foundation and geotechnical engineering projects. This role involves managing a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring project delivery on time and within budget, and liaising with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years' experience in bored piling works.
• Recognized degree by PE Board Singapore preferred.
• Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, monitor and control works program and activities for projects including:

• To lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team of project managers on major projects through all stages of foundation and geotechnical engineering work
• To take responsibility for project scheduling, budgeting, project management in terms of cost, quality and timely delivery
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, clients and relevant authorities
• Attend regular site meetings
• Supervise and monitor the site labor force and the work of subcontractors
• Oversee the safety and health matters on the site
• Resolve any or other site related technical problems encountered.
• Any other duties delegated from head office, from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent, recognised by PE Board Singapore preferred
• At least 15 years’ relevant experience in bored piling works in similar capacity
• Excellent communication skills and able to work with employees at all levels
• Ability to interface with internal and external customers
• Able to deliver in a fast pace environment and work under pressure
