Project Coordinator / Engineer

As a Project Coordinator / Engineer, he/she is required to manage all construction / renovation works and its relevant submission, ensuring delivery on time with good quality of works.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee end-to-end project management, ensuring timely delivery and within budget constraints, reporting to the management team.
  • Develop detailed project plans, highlighting critical paths and resource allocation.
  • Review and provide solutions to technical problems, plan, monitor and report shop drawing production progress.
  • Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods and all shop drawings.
  • Provide resolution to construction issues on drawings, liaise closely with Architectural and M&E teams and authorities.
  • Coordinate, monitor and control sub‑contractors’ progress and quality of works; avoid conflicts among sub‑contractors.
  • Delegate work to engineers, supervisors and assign duties.
  • Liaise with clients to solve technical and detailing issues of construction/renovation works.
  • Monitor and report project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Report to Project Director/Manager the progress of construction/renovation works in a timely basis.
  • Hand over documents including OMM, As‑built drawings, etc.
  • Liaise with client team on site for compliance to quality, inspection process and maintaining a good working relationship.
  • Ensure procedures, quality of works and materials of construction comply with specifications, contract and quality requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers to ensure successful implementation of the project.
  • Conduct post‑project evaluations to analyze results and enhance future project performance.
Technical Understanding

Salary Package : $2000 and above
Full‑time position
Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm; Sat 9 to 1pm
Main Office: Oxley Bizhub 2. Site location: Subjected to Project postings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create project plans, schedules, budgets and monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Manages all aspects of the project/construction execution.
  • Attend Job Site meeting, SIC meeting.
  • Prepare timely project progress reports on time, cost, and quality and timely communication with clients.
  • Manage and liaise with sub‑contractors and consultants and project manager.
  • Analyse project specifications and M&E drawings.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring adherence to standard rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Able to manage drawing submissions and work independently across job sites.
  • Transport travel to job sites (allowance provided).
