Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore seeks a Senior/Project Engineer for a 1-year contract to drive pharmaceutical projects from proposal to realization.

You will raise project proposals, manage budgets and schedules, oversee vendor contracts, and ensure compliance with GMP, GEP and SHE requirements. 2–3 years of PM or pharma industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in engineering; relevant PM experience preferred.
• 2–3 years in project management within chemical/pharma industries.
• Experience with EPCM/TPS providers and cost estimation methods.

Responsibilities

• Raise project proposals (STP, PIP) and justification papers.
• Communicate and escalate project progress, risks and support needs.
• Manage projects in line with Safety & Quality standards.
• Oversee capital project implementation per Global Project Control Framework.
• Prepare cost estimates and schedules; monitor cost utilization and milestones.
• Administer vendor contracts and liaise with contractors for smooth delivery.
• Develop, manage and validate installation works per GMP, GEP and SHE.
• Support planning and budgeting for project teams.

Jobscope:

• Raise project proposal (STP - Situation, Target & Proposal), Project Investment Proposal (PIP) and justification paper
• Communication and escalation of project progress, key risk areas and support requirements enabling successful delivery of the project and benefit realization
• Manage and execute the project in compliance with Safety & Quality standards
• Manage and execute capital project implementation in accordance to the Global Project Control Framework throughout the project life cycle.
• Prepare cost estimation and schedule plans for projects based on the agreed work scope, and monitor and track cost utilization and project milestones to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
• Administer vendor contracts for outsourced projects, and liaise and manage relationship with the contractors to ensure smooth implementation of projects.
• Develop, manage and conduct validation for installation works in accordance with GMP, GEP and SHE requirements.
• Support in planning, development and controlling project team operating budget facilitating the delivery of targeted projects.

Requirements:

• Min. Degree in any engineering discipline
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in the project management field or in chemical/pharmaceutical industry
• Experience of working with and managing EPCM/TPS providers
• Knowledge of project schedule planning and control
• Knowledge of industrial standards; GMP, GEP and EHS requirements
• Knowledge of cost estimation methodology
