Job summary

A leading HR consultancy in Singapore is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to manage project execution, ensure key milestones are met, and provide engineering support. Ideal candidates possess a degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with relevant experience. Strong project management skills and familiarity with M & E drawings are essential. Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience for degree holders.

  • Ability to read and interpret M & E drawings.

Job description
Senior Project Engineer

Working Location: 609935 (Jurong East)

Working Days: Monday – Friday

Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:15pm

Salary range: SGD 4,000 to SGD 6,000 + SGD250 Transport Allowance ,13th month

Specific Responsibilities
  • Execute the project management duties and ensure all key milestones are met within the schedule.
  • Generate the master project schedule and monitor project execution milestones.
  • Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties to carry out the implementation works of the project.
  • Monitor respective functions responsibilities and ensure project milestones are on track.
  • Coordinate and lead the Factory Acceptance Test with customers and distributors.
  • Ensure all documentation is agreed and endorsed for delivery.
  • Schedule and coordinate the on-site testing and ensure smooth transition to the aftermarket team.
  • Provide the first level technical support during project execution.
  • Work with the engineering team on project feasibility studies and assist the Industrial Solution team to generate project cost estimation in terms of project management activities.
  • Submit a monthly report on the project status to highlight key issues or concerns relating to project delivery and milestones.
  • Provide engineering support on third‑party product and drawings for submittals purpose.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Work with interplant associates on deliveries, factory tests and project documentation.
  • Work closely with scheduler, customer service team and the production team, updating project status in the weekly project meeting.
  • Attend weekly site meetings with the main contractor and consultant if required.
  • Manage site installations work and ensure completion within the stipulated timeline.
  • Coordinate and work with sub‑contractors on site installations work, drawings, and material submittals.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 2 – 3 years of relevant experience; or
  • Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 5 – 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Able to read and interpret M & E drawings.
  • Familiar with generators, controls, and associated equipment & accessories – added advantage.
  • Familiar with generator standards and codes – added advantage.
