Senior Project Engineer
Working Location: 609935 (Jurong East)
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:15pm
Salary range: SGD 4,000 to SGD 6,000 + SGD250 Transport Allowance ,13th month
Specific Responsibilities
- Execute the project management duties and ensure all key milestones are met within the schedule.
- Generate the master project schedule and monitor project execution milestones.
- Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties to carry out the implementation works of the project.
- Monitor respective functions responsibilities and ensure project milestones are on track.
- Coordinate and lead the Factory Acceptance Test with customers and distributors.
- Ensure all documentation is agreed and endorsed for delivery.
- Schedule and coordinate the on-site testing and ensure smooth transition to the aftermarket team.
- Provide the first level technical support during project execution.
- Work with the engineering team on project feasibility studies and assist the Industrial Solution team to generate project cost estimation in terms of project management activities.
- Submit a monthly report on the project status to highlight key issues or concerns relating to project delivery and milestones.
- Provide engineering support on third‑party product and drawings for submittals purpose.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Work with interplant associates on deliveries, factory tests and project documentation.
- Work closely with scheduler, customer service team and the production team, updating project status in the weekly project meeting.
- Attend weekly site meetings with the main contractor and consultant if required.
- Manage site installations work and ensure completion within the stipulated timeline.
- Coordinate and work with sub‑contractors on site installations work, drawings, and material submittals.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 2 – 3 years of relevant experience; or
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 5 – 7 years of relevant experience.
- Able to read and interpret M & E drawings.
- Familiar with generators, controls, and associated equipment & accessories – added advantage.
- Familiar with generator standards and codes – added advantage.
