Job description

Senior Project Engineer

• Working Location: 609935 (Jurong East)
• Working Days: Monday – Friday
• Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:15pm
• Salary range: SGD 4,000 to SGD 6,000 + SGD250 Transport Allowance ,13th month

Specific Responsibilities

• Execute the project management duties and ensure all key milestones are met within the schedule.
• Generate the master project schedule and monitor project executions milestones.
• Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties to carry out the implementation works of the project.
• Monitor respective functions responsibilities and ensure project milestones are on track
• Coordinate and Lead the Factory Acceptance Test with customers and distributors.
• Ensure all documentations are agreed and endorsed for delivery.
• Schedule and coordinate the on-site testing and ensured smooth transition to the aftermarket team.
• To provide the first level technical support during project execution.
• Work with engineering team on project feasibility studies and assist Industrial Solution team to generate project cost estimation in term of project management activities.
• Submit a monthly report on the project status to highlight key issue or concern relating to the project delivery and milestones.
• Provide engineering support on 3rdparty product and drawings for submittals purpose.
• Participate in continuous improvement project.
• Work with interplant associates on deliveries, factory tests and project documentation.
• Work closely with scheduler, customer service team and the production team, update projects status in weekly project meeting.
• Attend weekly site meeting with the main con and consultant if required.
• Manage site installations work and ensure completion within stipulated timeline.
• Coordinate and work with sub-contractors on site installations work, drawings, and materials submittals.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Able to read and interpret M & E drawings.
• Familiar with generators, controls, and its associated equipment & accessories (added advantage).
• Familiar with generators standards and codes (added advantage).
