Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a qualified Electrical Engineer to lead installations of electrical equipment and oversee subcontractor work in mechanical and electrical projects. Candidates should have a recognized degree in Electrical Engineering and experience in substation or wastewater management projects. This role includes supporting QA/QC with documentation and attending final project testing and commissioning.

• Must possess a recognised degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in substation or wastewater management projects is required.

Job description

About the job :

• Lead in the installation of electrical equipment such as High Voltage Switchgear, Transformer, LV switchgear, Distribution Panel and generators
• Monitors subcontractor works in relation to mechanical and electrical installations from below ground conduits and piping to final installation of equipment such as transformers, pumps, generators, switchboards and including works schedule updating & reporting to project team management.
• Supports the QA/QC department with field work and documentation for quality control of mechanical and electrical installations;
• Checking subcontractor as-built drawings, operations manuals and procedures;
• Attends final testing and commissioning of completed installations
• Prepare project’s bill of material, workshop drawings, technical support to production, testing and commissioning team.

Requirements

• A Recognised Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in sub station/waste water management projects
