Job summary

Ramo Industries Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled construction project professional in Singapore to assist with planning, execution, and coordination of educational facility projects. The role focuses on coordinating architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to safety and building codes.

The candidate will review drawings, manage RFIs and submittals, and support site inspections and documentation for smooth project handovers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years or more of practical construction experience, preferably in school buildings, institutional facilities, or public infrastructure.
• Experience in site supervision, design coordination, or project engineering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, updating, and monitoring project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion.
• Examine and interpret architectural, structural, M&E drawings, specifications, and related technical documents.
• Prepare, submit, monitor, and maintain RFIs, material submissions, and shop drawing documentation.
• Conduct site inspections to verify construction workmanship, materials, and activities meet codes and safety requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, architects, school district representatives, and authorities to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor subcontractor activities and coordinate trades including HVAC, electrical, and fire protection installations.
• Maintain daily site reports, monitor variation orders, and assist with project handover and close-out documentation.
