Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end initiatives in a food manufacturing environment in Singapore. You will drive planning, scheduling, and coordination across cross-functional teams to meet project goals while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal departments such as Operations, Finance, Logistics and RDQ to deliver innovations, capacity improvements and productivity opportunities aligned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline (required).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a food manufacturing plant.
• Familiar with industry best practices and plant operations.
• Experience in project management, inter-company business, and regulatory coordination.
• Strong change management and business development experience.
• Ability to coordinate with customers, vendors and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Project planning and scheduling: create timelines, daily tasks, milestones.
• Technical oversight: review blueprints, drawings, and specs for compliance.
• Quality and safety control: conduct site inspections and enforce safety rules.
• Stakeholder communication: act as main liaison between clients, contractors, managers and workers.
• Budget and resource tracking: monitor costs, material quantities, and equipment.
• Interface with Plant Operations, Finance, Logistics, and RDQ for Innovation/NPD and compliance.
• Enable I2M/IIM progress across sites as required.

Job description

• Manage the technical, planning, and coordination parts of the assigned project from start to finish, with key focus on the following:
• Project Planning and Scheduling: Creating timelines, scheduling daily tasks, and setting milestones to keep work on track.
• Technical Oversight: Reading and checking blueprints, design drawings, and technical specs to ensure work matches requirements.
• Quality and Safety Control: Running site inspections and enforcing health and safety rules to prevent accidents and fix errors.
• Stakeholder Communication: Acting as the main link between clients, contractors, managers, and workers to share updates and solve problems.
• Budget and Resource Tracking: Monitoring costs, tracking material quantities, and helping manage equipment and supplies
• Primary interface between the related Plant Operations, Finance, Logistics, and RDQ, for all matters pertaining to Innovation/NPD commercialization, technology improvements, capacity enhancement, productivity opportunities and compliance projects that are aligned with the overall business strategies.
• Acts as an enabler for I2M/IIM (Innovation 2Market; Innovations and Initiative Management) progress across the sites, as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• At least 3-5 years experience in a food manufacturing plant
• Knowledgeable of Best Practices in the industry.
• Plant operations functions, project management, Inter-company business.
• Strong Change Management & business development experience
• Demonstrated capability to discuss, coordinate and negotiate with key project partners andcross functional team members (customers, vendors, regulatory agencies, others)
