Reporting and Accountability
Reports to Section Manager of Engineering Management basis organisation and reports to the Project Engineering Manager when assigned to a project.
Ensure that assigned work is completed on time with the intended quality.

Project Responsibilities
- Execute tasks assigned by the Project Engineering Manager.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary engineering activities with Discipline Leads.
- Ensure contract technical requirements are reflected in deliverables.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication to meet project goals.
- Support reporting (weekly/monthly), highlighting issues and action items.
- Organize System/Area Design Reviews and ensure action close-outs.
- Participate in third-party workshops (e.g., HAZOP, SIL) and follow up on actions.
- Define resource needs and establish the engineering team.
- Interface with internal units and systems administration.
- Implement project strategies and philosophies.
- Monitor quality assurance compliance.
- Administer deviations, concessions, and technical clarifications with the Client.
- Coordinate with suppliers and service contractors.
- Manage design changes from development and site queries.
- Collaborate with Quality Lead to manage risks and mitigation actions.
- Conduct Lessons Learnt workshops and ensure implementation.
Work Experience Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Prior involvement in FPSO projects is highly desirable.
- Proven expertise in Change Management, Interface Coordination, and Risk Management.
- Experience working on medium to large-scale brownfield and greenfield projects.
- Strong contractual awareness, including familiarity with commercial terms and obligations.
- Experience in CTR (Cost, Time, Resource) preparation and budget tracking.
- In-depth understanding of project phases, milestones, and deliverables, with a focus on planning and schedule development.
- Working knowledge of project planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) is preferred.
Qualifications
Applicant must have a minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other equivalent engineering specialisation.

- Strong understanding of the oil & gas industry.
- Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to collaborate across all levels.
- Self-driven with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
