Job Description
1. Project Management
  • Manage ship repair and ship refit projects, from planning through execution and delivery.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
2. Technical Expertise
  • Oversee progress and technical requirements for repair and refit projects.
  • Interpret technical drawings, design documents, and specifications.
  • Provide guidance and suggestion to production teams during execution.
3. Quality Assurance
  • Ensure all ship repair and refit work adheres to established quality standards.
  • Conduct inspections to verify compliance with design specifications and classification requirements.
  • Address quality issues promptly with effective corrective actions.
4. Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant maritime regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals and certifications.
5. Communication and Coordination
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to management and clients.
  • Facilitate problem-solving discussions to address challenges and maintain progress.
6. Risk Management

Qualifications
  • Min. of Diploma in marine engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ship repair or refit project engineering.
  • Strong understanding of ship repair processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Proficient in project management with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Familiarity with High-speed craft systems and operational requirements.
  • Experience coordinating with regulatory authorities and international clients.
  • Completion of SRM (Shipbuilding and Repair Management) course is an advantage.
