Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is seeking a Product Programme Governance & Coordination professional in Singapore. You will manage end-to-end governance, coordinate regional reviews, and ensure readiness for new products, including SOP and regulatory reporting.

The role emphasizes automation via VBA and Excel, with collaboration across Finance, Compliance, Legal, and Business teams. Suitable for Senior Officer or Manager level depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial operations, product governance, or risk and control functions.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to governance and control.
• Demonstrated proficiency in VBA programming (Excel, Word, Access).
• Working knowledge of derivative products is preferred.
• Familiarity with Python is an advantage but not required.
• Prior experience in market operations or a related field is highly desirable.
• Candidate will be considered either a Senior Officer or Manager, depending on experience/background.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement desktop automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Create and maintain VBA scripts for automating tasks in Excel, Word, and Access.
• Identify workflow improvement opportunities and collaborate with team members to implement solutions.
• Maintain documentation of automation tools and processes.
