From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we make Google's product portfolio possible. We're proud to be our engineers' engineers and love voiding warranties by taking things apart so we can rebuild them. Job description

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Additional job description

In this role, you will be accountable for orchestrating the delivery of data center infrastructure and optimizing programs to drive consistency, efficiency, and economies across the region.

Job responsibilities
  • Set the direction for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) data center portfolio, owning regional metrics, and ensuring adherence to global process standards and governance.
  • Set accountable for meeting regional capacity delivery commitments. Lead regional delivery reviews to drive momentum, accountability, and execution across all partners (e.g., land, construction, supply chain).
  • Establish and manage the regional risk profile for projects. Monitor and report global throughput constraints, define mitigation strategies, and manage escalations for executive leadership.
  • Define cross-functional roles, responsibilities, and hand‑offs across the end-to-end asset lifecycle. Translate the overall plan into deliverables.
Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management, delivering cross‑functional programs in a technical or industrial setting.
  • 5 years of experience in planning or management for data center infrastructure, real estate, or industrial facilities.
  • Experience in managing project portfolios, including establishing risk governance, managing dependencies, and driving regional delivery timelines.
  • Experience in monitoring portfolio metrics like Key Performance Indicator (KPIs), reporting on supply chain health, and leading cross‑functional teams to define process architecture.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with data centers or other physical infrastructure in site development, construction, design, or engineering, within a changing environment.
  • Experience in planning and communication management, including creating project plans and managing dependencies.
  • Experience in a cross‑functional role, including interaction with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with power transmission and distribution, telecommunications infrastructure, or real estate development.
  • Ability to develop data‑motivated technical insights and translate them into commercial solutions.
  • Ability to build program teams and establish systems to identify process improvements through performance measurement.
