Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Senior Production Manager to lead production operations, people, and continuous improvement in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Based at Kaki Bukit, the role oversees planning, scheduling, budgets and cross‑functional partnerships with Planning, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and R&D to meet quality, cost and delivery targets. ISO 13485 and FDA‑regulated manufacturing experience are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead overall production operations to hit build schedules, quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Mentor and develop Production Supervisors and teams.
• Plan production schedules, priorities, manpower and resources across lines.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex production, equipment and process issues.
• Lead root-cause analysis across mechanical, electrical and process systems.
• Develop and enforce SOPs and manufacturing quality standards.
• Manage budgets, salary planning and capacity planning.
• Drive productivity, labour utilisation, equipment efficiency and cost reductions.
• Support new product introductions and optimise layouts.
• Lead manufacturing transfers and obsolescence planning.
• Drive capital equipment improvements to boost capability.
• Ensure quality requirements for new products released into manufacturing.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with hazardous material and controlled substance requirements.

Excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader to take ownership of production operations, people leadership, technical troubleshooting, capacity planning and continuous improvement within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

You will lead Production Supervisors and their teams while partnering closely with Planning, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall production operations to achieve build schedules, quality, cost and delivery targets
• Lead, develop and mentor Production Supervisors and production teams
• Plan production schedules, priorities, manpower and resource allocation across product lines
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex production, equipment and process issues
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across mechanical, electrical and process systems
• Develop and enforce SOPs, work practices and manufacturing quality standards
• Manage departmental budgets, salary plans and capacity planning
