This role oversees a team of manufacturing and process engineers to ensure stable production, continuous improvement, and high-quality output for precision engineering and semiconductor products.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of manufacturing and process engineers to develop, optimize, and sustain CNC machining and assembly processes.
- Drive production efficiency improvements, including cycle time reduction, tool-life enhancement, yield improvement, and process capability optimization using data-driven methodologies.
- Oversee the design, fabrication, and qualification of jigs, fixtures, cutting tools, gauges, and tooling required for precision manufacturing and assembly operations.
- Coordinate and manage NPI builds-from DFM reviews, prototype builds, and process validation to full-scale production implementation.
- Lead structured root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for production and quality issues using methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, and FMEA.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S/6S, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality across CNC and assembly departments.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery and seamless production flow.
