Job summary

Manulife Singapore seeks a Product and Sales Compliance professional to support day-to-day compliance for business initiatives, reviewing product materials and regulatory adherence. The role reports to the Head of Product and Sales Compliance and participates in strategic compliance projects within the organization.

Effective communication with stakeholders and a strong grasp of MAS regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in audit, finance or business relevance with extensive compliance experience in financial services.
• Excellent knowledge of Insurance Act, Financial Advisers Act, MAS regulations and LIA MU/MC.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to brief non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance advisory support to business stakeholders for day-to-day operations and new initiatives.
• Review product due diligence materials including product highlights, policy illustrations and product summaries.
• Manage regulatory changes and advise units to meet requirements.
• Investigate non-consumer feedback and whistleblowing cases.
• Support head of Product and Sales Compliance in regulatory liaison and responses to queries.
• Prepare compliance reports and training materials.
• Maintain compliance policies and procedures for annual reviews.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and special projects.
