As a Senior Product Marketing Executive (Regional Marketing), You Will
Fulfill, but not limited to, the following roles and responsibilities:
- Communicate and liaise with Japan HQ Product Marketing Team in Product Development and Segment Marketing to meet overall company objectives.
- Translate product specification and technical specification from Japanese to English for Label Products for ASEAN regional marketing collaterals use.
- Handle new products project management throughout an end-to-end life cycle to maximize revenue and profitable market share.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence on label printing industry trends and competitors’ products in Asia Pacific region. Understand market needs; keep abreast of technology developments/ trends in the label printing industry and competitive situation.
- Coordinate products across various customer segments regionally.
- Ability to conceptualise, plan and develop new products release & launch activities/ programs across relevant target market segment to ensure product relevance and meet changing market needs, including the development of business cases.
- Responsible for the product performance including price plans, profitability and market share of Brother’s business.
- Develop and execute partnership marketing programs which leverage complementary brands in order to drive sales and increase the top-of-mind awareness of our products
- Plan and develop a series of sales & promotional activities that support the delivery of the group’s total solution.
- Support Marketing Communication Team in the planning and execution of Marketing Programs. These programs include exhibitions, product launches, roadshows, partners’ events, as well as demand generation program including direct mailers.
- Communicate and liaise with presales staff in local sales office and Japan HQ Software Special Solution Team to provide special solutions to customers.
Requirements
- Minimum Degree holder is highly preferred.
- At least 5 years of marketing experience.
- Specialized Product Marketing knowledge in labelers, electronic stationary and labeling solutions especially in electrical wire market and printing technology
- Proven product marketing and retail background/knowledge in Asia Pacific region.
- Proven track record in markets such as ASEAN, East Asia and India.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English (spoken and written)
- Converse in Japanese during business meetings/presentations with Japan HQ. Strong proficiency in Business Japanese language is a must.
- Ability to converse, translate, and write IT technical specifications from Japanese to English, as product specifications from Japan HQ are in Japanese
- Possess sufficient software knowledge to discuss requirement specifications and possible solutions with presales and technical staff in Japan HQ.
- This position requires business-level proficiency in Japanese to coordinate with Japan HQ for product development and marketing communication.
