The Product Manager is responsible for leading the development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of digital products and services. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong grasp of market dynamics, user needs, and emerging technologies. The Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery that aligns with business goals and customer expectations. A successful candidate will blend business acumen, technical understanding, and user-centered design principles to drive innovation and deliver value.
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business strategy and customer needs.
- Conduct business environment analysis, market research, and demand analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
- Integrate emerging technologies, including AI applications, into product development to enhance functionality and competitiveness.
Product Development & Lifecycle Management
- Lead end-to-end product development, from ideation and design to launch and iteration.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Apply automation management and system integration practices to streamline development and improve scalability.
User-Centered Design & Experience
- Champion design thinking and user experience design to ensure products are intuitive, accessible, and engaging.
- Oversee user testing and usability testing to validate product concepts and inform design decisions.
- Leverage data visualization and storyboarding to communicate insights and product narratives effectively.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather business requirements, align priorities, and manage expectations.
- Foster strong partnerships across departments, including various customer facing business units, and operations, to support product success.
- Translate business needs into actionable product features and enhancements through effective communication and collaboration.
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor product performance using data analytics and business performance metrics.
- Drive process improvement and optimization initiatives to enhance product quality and delivery efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, data ethics, and governance frameworks throughout the product lifecycle.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in a digital or technology-driven environment.
Skills
- Proven track record of managing full product lifecycles and delivering successful products to market.
- Strong understanding of user experience design, data strategy, and emerging technologies.
- Experience with agile methodologies, project management tools, and cross-functional team leadership.
- Proven experience in preparing and evaluating tender documents, as well as managing contracts for deals valued at SGD $2M and above.
