What You Will Do
  • Ensure timely material fulfillment for engine production while maintaining optimal inventory levels through effective WIP optimization and monitoring of aging inventory.
  • Manage purchase order issuance and coordinate material flow for new parts, subcontracted work, and exchanges to support continuous engine assembly operations.
  • Oversee a network of local and overseas vendors to ensure part availability, cost efficiency, and reliable turnaround times.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure adherence to industry quality standards and company specifications.
  • Lead supplier performance reviews to achieve target metrics in cost, quality, delivery, and service support.
  • Conduct price negotiations with vendors to achieve cost savings and deliver value to customers.
  • Identify, plan, and execute cost‑reduction initiatives, coordinating with stakeholders and tracking progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Review and enhance procurement processes and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Reconcile invoice discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Review open purchase orders and take necessary follow‑up actions to ensure closure or resolution.
  • Analyze parts usage trends and implement action plans to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team of buyers to achieve inventory and business performance KPIs.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as CORE, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen events.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or any other related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant material procurement experience in fast‑paced environment.
  • Develop material forecasts based on operational or production schedules and create sourcing and mitigation strategies to ensure timely availability of critical components.
  • Able to work in a fast pace and dynamic environment.
  • Continuous improvement knowledge in using lean manufacturing, six sigma or kaizen.
  • Effective communications and organizational skills to work in cross‑functional environment to drive supplier performance reviews and improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills that drive creative problem‑solving, proposal preparation and negotiation.
  • A team player with high standards of performance to achieve company goals.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Relevant experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing industries.
  • Experience in procurement of material and inventory in aircraft engine workshop practice.
  • Experience in preparing monthly & quarterly materials forecast based on planned engine induction.
