Job summary

Brunel International S.E.A Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Sr.

Procurement QA/QC Engineer to ensure procured materials and packages comply with project specs and standards, coordinating with third-party inspection agencies. You will review supplier quality plans, conduct supplier pre-qualifications, and participate in bid evaluations. The role requires extensive experience in oil & gas projects and Mandarin communication capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, or related engineering.
• Minimum 10 years' supplier QA experience in oil & gas / energy.
• Knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI, ISO, EN codes.
• Experience with inspection/certification processes including TPIA/TPCA.
• ISO 9001 and CORP-QAL-STD-004 familiarity.
• Welding inspection certification (CSWIP3.1 / AWS CWI) desirable.
• Mandarin proficiency preferred for stakeholder communication.
• Experience on FPSOs, offshore platforms, FLNGs, LNGs, or refineries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-qualification assessments of suppliers and manufacturers.
• Ensure suppliers meet PML or justify deviations via PML requests.
• Review and approve supplier quality plans, ITPs, and procedures.
• Coordinate with TPIA/TPCA for inspection scheduling and execution.
• Review vendor deviations ensuring alignment with quality requirements.
• Submit weekly and monthly procurement quality status reports.
• Verify material certifications and traceability to project specs.
• Coordinate material receiving inspections and resolve discrepancies.
