Key Responsibilities
- Implementation of Global Procurement Transformation: Lead the India procurement organization to roll out the Group’s unified procurement policies, processes, and systems.
- Ensure key integration milestones are achieved by year-end.
- Identify and address current process fragmentation and system gaps to enable organizational and procedural harmonization.
Raw Material Cost Optimization & Global Supply Base Expansion
- Drive cost reduction initiatives for raw materials based on local supply market maturity.
- Develop and optimise the overseas supplier ecosystem.
- Increase the proportion of localized sourcing and reduce reliance on single-country or import-dependent supply channels.
Inventory Management & Supply Stability
- Upgrade and streamline raw material inventory management to enhance turnover rates—targeting a ~10% improvement for India and U.S. plants.
- Establish standardized demand planning, inventory forecasting, and shipping SOPs.
- Strengthen supply risk assessment and mitigation mechanisms.
Early Involvement in R&D and Cost Governance
- Participate proactively in new product development and design stages, providing input on component selection and material cost feasibility.
- Improve new product cost achievement rate and support the business transition from OEM toward JDM/ODM models.
- Strengthen the strategic role of overseas teams in product cost planning.
Team Leadership & Performance Enablement
- Lead, coach, and manage India’s procurement team to improve execution efficiency and delivery quality.
- Promote proactive communication, timely reporting, responsiveness to HQ and cross-functional requests, and reliable meeting participation.
- Set performance standards focused on progress tracking, deliverable quality, and cross-cultural collaboration effectiveness.
Requirement
- Minimum 15 years in procurement with proven leadership capabilities and stable career progression.
- Prior experience in multinational supply chain transformation and cross-border team leadership.
- Background in consumer electronics supply chain or India manufacturing operations is a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience across multiple SCM disciplines within a FATP (Final Assembly, Test & Pack) environment: Sourcing, PMC, Buying, MPM, Logistics, etc.
- Proficient in both Mandarin and English as working languages.
- Strong intercultural communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication, high resilience, and a strong results orientation under pressure.
- Able to be based in India for months, with flexibility to support U.S. operations or other regions as required.
