Procurement Executive

The Senior Procurement Executive shall be in charge of managing and maintaining project document and submissions and ensure documentation flow of the engineering, project management and construction staff is controlled within Company standards and common engineering practices.

The scope shall encompass the following:

  • Handle full spectrum of Purchasing Process (Source for material, Generate PO, Expedite and Update delivery status and schedules).
  • Review and interpret project contracts and scopes.
  • Work with commercial team in developing and maintain procurement plans, perform sourcing and RFQs process, evaluate vendor bids and negotiate price and terms in alignment with company's policies.
  • Creation of Purchase Order in ERP system.
  • Arrange and coordinate with logistics agent on the best shipment mode to meet delivery schedules.
  • Liaise and coordinate with suppliers, project team & warehouse to ensure deliveries of material as per project requirement & schedule.
  • Generate and maintain delivery report for Project team.
  • Assist in close‑out open/balance Purchase Order during project closure.
  • Support project cost control, forecasting, and commercial reporting.
  • Identify procurement risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.
  • Support the implementation of Procurement SOP and provide recommendations for improvements on work processes.
  • Assist in liaison with internal teams (i.e. project, finance, logistics and engineering) on claims and disputes.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and support their development, including appraising their performance when needed.
  • Ensure proper documentation and internal filing.
  • Perform other ad‑hoc procurement duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Purchasing / Business Administration or other equivalent qualifications. Candidates without the relevant qualifications but with relevant work experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience in Procurement/Logistics/Engineering/Construction industry, preferably with Main‑Con or M&E or other engineering services company.
  • Strong Procurement Process Awareness in International purchase and logistical procedures.
  • Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Good negotiator.
  • Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Attentive to details, responsible and responsive with positive attitude.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Resourceful, and able to work independently with minimum supervision and a dedicated team player.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English with ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with staff & suppliers.
  • High reliability and integrity in handling confidential information.
