Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to manage procurement arrangements.
  • Manage request for quotations up to purchase order issuance.
  • Provide advice on procurement policies and procedures.
  • Lead contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Develop long-term relationships with suppliers.
  • Evaluate new suppliers for future growth.
  • Participate in process improvement projects.
  • Coordinate logistics and liaise with project teams.
  • Serve as procurement approver for purchases.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job description
Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Partner with stakeholders to plan, develop, source and manage procurement arrangements to effectively meet the organisational objectives.
  2. Management of request for quotations from requirements up to award stage and purchase order issuance.
  3. Provide advice to internal and external stakeholders on all procurement related matters and ensure they comply with the procurement policies and procedures.
  4. Lead contract negotiation and supplier management process to ensure quality, pricing and delivery objectives are met.
  5. Develop long-term relationships with suppliers by negotiating terms and agreements to ensure favorable conditions for the organisation.
  6. Evaluate and perform strategic sourcing of new suppliers to support the organisations' future growth.
  7. Participate in process improvement projects to derive efficiency throughout the organisation.
  8. Logistics coordination, liaise with project team and forwarding agents.
  9. Check and serve as procurement approver for purchases.
  10. Any other duties as assigned by the department head.
