Your Job

As a Senior Engineer in the Stamping Department, your primary focus is to contribute to the overall stamping KPI by ensuring high-quality standards, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. You will work closely with teams to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of stamping operations, aiming to optimize machine utilization and improve yield. Your role will involve managing production manpower effectively and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strong teamwork.

Our Team

You will be part of the Datacom and Specialty Solutions Division, working within the Stamping Department. This role involves collaboration with interdepartmental teams, vendors, and suppliers to achieve optimal production outcomes.

What You Will Do
  • Drive machine utilization by proactively engaging relevant parties to reduce downtime and improve yield.
  • Develop and maintain a flexible, agile workforce across stamping operations, managing production manpower effectively.
  • Conduct training and coaching for supervisors and employees to enhance the working culture using MOS concepts and PBM philosophy.
  • Facilitate effective two-way communication between employees and management across manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with production managers and supervisors to optimize machine output, product quality, machine yield, and plant utilization.
  • Ensure a steady flow of production activity, producing the right product, in the right quality and quantity, at the right time.
  • Oversee scheduling, production control, inventory control, and output in the Stamping Department.
  • Motivate and develop a cohesive production team, recommending and implementing solutions to prevent nonconformities in products and processes.
  • Involve in internal and external audits to ensure compliance and minimize yield loss while meeting product specifications.
  • Improve COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) and create saving opportunities, providing production support for in-house and vendor quality/process issues.
  • Ensure proper documentation control of process capability studies, FMEAs, SOPs, and production records, adhering to TS16949 requirements.
  • Conduct employee training to maintain effective documentation and record control within the department.
  • Drive cost reduction in direct labor, variable overhead, and fixed overhead costs within your group.
  • Foster a culture of strong and effective teamwork within the production team.
