A dynamic tech company in Singapore is seeking a Pre-Sales Technical Consultant to collaborate with Account Executives, lead Proof-of-Concept implementations, and provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Collaborate with Account Executives to understand customer needs and deliver tailored product demonstrations.
Own the technical aspects of the sales cycle, including solution design, security reviews, and integration discussions.
Lead Proof-of-Concept (PoC) and pilot implementations to showcase product capabilities.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to prospects, addressing questions around architecture, APIs, data security, and scalability.
Provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams to help guide roadmap decisions.
Create and maintain reusable sales assets such as demo environments, solution diagrams, and technical FAQs.
Occasionally support RFP/RFI responses with technical input.
Contribute to the development of best practices, templates, and tools to streamline the implementation and delivery process.
Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients to ensure continued satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional value or upsell.
Proven experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or related technical customer-facing role, ideally in an early stage product company
Strong understanding of on-premise and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and web applications.
Familiarity with enterprise IT environments
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to both technical and business audiences.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and manage multiple priorities.
Hands-on experience with scripting (Python, JavaScript), CRM systems (Salesforce), or BI tools will be an advantage.
