Job summary

Hua Ying (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. seeks a plant operator to support the Shift Charge Engineer in meeting contractual, technical, and commercial needs at our Tuas South site. The role emphasizes safety, quality monitoring, and daily operational tasks.

You will troubleshoot issues, ensure safe maintenance, collect samples for testing, and follow the Permit-To-Work system. 12-hour rotating shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Nitec or GCE 'N' level or equivalent.
• At least 3 years relevant working experience.
• Experience in Power Plant industry is an advantage.
• Applicant willing to work in Tuas South and 12 hours rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shift Charge Engineer to meet the contractual, technical, and commercial set-up and operation.
• Perform quality monitoring and operational works according to the safety requirement.
• Advise isolation/ normalization of equipment as required by the Permit-To-Work system.
• Serving as the immediate response to troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues.
• Ensuring any maintenance or modification job done in the plant is conducted safely.
• Collecting raw material and product sample for testing.
• Following up on daily plant routine jobs.
