A leading hospital in Singapore is seeking an experienced Podiatrist to manage various foot conditions and perform Diabetic foot screenings. The ideal candidate has a degree in Podiatry and at least 5 years of relevant experience. This role involves providing education on foot care and ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferred for senior position.
• Strong knowledge in foot care management and education.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset to seek out opportunities for enhancements to quality productivity and/or patient safety and care.
• General management of callus, corns, warts, fungal and nail conditions.
• Provide foot care education.
• Perform Diabetic foot screening (Neurovascular assessment) and to assess risk category
• Management of wounds/ulcers, debridement and dressings, wound care education
• Dispense and advise on Diabetic Footwear and total contact Inlays
• Biomechanical assessment and gait analysis
• Sports injuries management and sports specific footwear advice
• Perform partial or total nail avulsion

Requirements

• Degree in Podiatry or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant experience can be considered for senior position
• Ability to work in a team or independently
