Job summary

SILTRONIC SILICON WAFER PTE. LTD. is seeking a maintenance engineer to manage PLC and control systems in a semiconductor facility in Singapore. You will monitor performance, drive uptime, and coordinate improvements with contractors and vendors.

The role requires experience with Siemens and Mitsubishi PLCs, ELV systems like fire alarms and PA, and field instruments, with a focus on safety and reliability in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical / control Engineering or related fields with min 2 years experience.
• Experience in Siemens, Mitsubishi PLC systems.
• Experience in ELV systems like fire alarm, public address, etc.
• Able to work with field instruments.
• Knowledge of Electrical systems will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of PLC and control systems
• Continuous performance monitoring and ensuring highest uptime
• Project coordination for new improvement and automation activities
• Troubleshooting of system abnormalities and provide technical solution
• Initiate continuous improvement projects
• Manage external contractor and vendors and maintaining safety standards
