Balyasny Asset Management (BAM) is a global investment firm seeking an experienced Platform Engineer focused on SRE/DevOps to design, build and sustain scalable platforms for engineering and research teams. You will help automate deployments, optimize CI/CD, and drive reliability across cloud and on-prem environments.

The role requires deep experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Python or Go, and strong collaboration with portfolio management, technology, data, and business teams to deliver

Formación

• Hands-on SRE/DevOps in large distributed systems.
• Strong software engineering with Python or GoLang.
• Experience with CI/CD automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Octopus).
• Experience with critical artifacts infrastructure serving millions of requests daily.
• Experience architecting scalable, testable software and infrastructure.
• Deep expertise with containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Experience building RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with IaC (Terraform) and observability solutions.
• Experience with cloud (AWS preferred) and on-prem hosting.

Responsabilidades

• Design and automate deployment pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Champion SRE/DevOps best practices including observability, CI/CD, and IaC across environments.
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines; manage Kubernetes operations and on-call duties.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve service stability, scalability and fault tolerance.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response to ensure production reliability.
