Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking a project manager to develop and manage project plans and schedules using Primavera P6. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil and/or Construction Engineering, strong analytical skills, and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include preparing project reports, managing contractual events, and ensuring successful project execution.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate ability to carry out advanced analyses of project scheduling using Primavera P6.
  • Able to read basic structural drawings.
  • Preferably 5 years of working experience.

Responsibilities

Job Description
  • Develop and manage project plans using Primavera P6.

  • Create detailed project schedules with resource allocation and levelling

  • Prepare detailed narratives that explain the basis of schedules, estimates and impact of inter-related events

  • Prepare a detailed catalogue of contractual events at project including instructions, variations, work stoppages, etc and their impact on the project timeline.

  • Prepare Extension of TimeNotifications and Claims.

  • Baseline management, resource loading and analysis, progress update and cash flow integration based on earned value methods.

  • Preparation of reports and conduct presentations to the internal and external stakeholders.

  • Participate in project team meetings for strategic input.

  • Liaise with all other departments to harmonize tactical planning in relation to project planning.

  • Review overall project status with the Project Management team and provide strategic inputs.

  • Liaise with all other Departments at all meetings relevant to project operations and ensure time and cost plans are updated to reflect latest information.

  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Min. Degree in Civil and/or Construction Engineering

  • Demonstrate the ability to carry out advanced analyses of project scheduling using Primavera P6.

  • Possess strong knowledge of PSSCOC and contractual documentation

  • Able to read basic structural drawings, proficient in MS Office.

  • Keen eye for mistakes and detail oriented.

  • Preferably 5 year(s) of working experience

  • Confident to be able to work independently and provide reliable expertise in matters of project planning.

  • Able to work harmoniously with the project team towards common team strategy

  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice
