Job summary

CopperCo Talent Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Piping Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Singapore. You will prepare piping layouts and isometrics, support material selection, and perform hydraulic calculations for wastewater and industrial projects.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on piping design, proficiency in AutoCAD, Plant 3D or PDMS, and strong collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance with international piping standards.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Piping Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on piping design experience in industrial piping systems or water/wastewater facilities.

Responsibilities

Piping Layout & Design: prepare 2D/3D piping layouts, isometrics and detailed designs for wastewater and industrial systems.
Specifications Review: review design specs, client requirements and project scope.
Material Selection & Calculations: support material selection, pipe sizing, pressure/stress analysis and hydraulic calculations.
Technical Problem-Solving: assist in design improvements, root cause analysis and troubleshooting during layout development.
Project & Site Coordination: collaborate with project managers, cross-disciplinary teams and site personnel during installation.
Documentation & Compliance: prepare specifications, MTOs and engineering reports ensuring drawings meet project specs and standards.
