Position Summary

As a Physiotherapist at ATHOS Performance, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of our diverse patient population. You will work closely with patients to provide comprehensive physiotherapy services, tailored treatment plans, and empowering education. Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical condition, movement patterns, and functional limitations to develop personalised treatment plans.
  • Utilise manual therapy and exercise-based interventions as the core of your physiotherapy practice, focusing on optimising physical function, recovery, and overall well-being.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients on exercise principles, injury prevention strategies, proper biomechanics, and postural awareness to empower them to take an active role in their own health and performance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Stay up to date with current research, trends, and advancements in the field of exercise-based physiotherapy to enhance your knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
  • AHPC registered Physiotherapist.
  • At least 2 years in assessing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, with a focus on optimizing physical function and well-being through exercise.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing exercise programs for rehabilitation, injury prevention, and overall physical fitness.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • A passion for promoting health and well-being through exercise-based physiotherapy.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
