Job summary

Soon Xing Engineering is seeking an experienced PHP developer to build and maintain scalable web applications. You will work across the stack, implementing backend services with Laravel or Symfony, and crafting responsive front-ends with Vue.js or React. Strong database design with MySQL is essential.

Responsibilities include RESTful API design, code quality, and collaboration in Agile sprints using Git to deliver robust software solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PHP development experience
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with Laravel, Symfony, or similar PHP frameworks
• Proficiency with front-end tools such as Vue.js or React
• Familiarity with RESTful API development
• Experience using Git and working in Agile teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
• Build and integrate front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks like Vue.js or React
• Design and manage MySQL databases for data integrity and performance
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs for system integration
• Write clean, well-documented code for maintainability and collaboration
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance for high availability
