Job summary

National University Health System’s Tengah General and Community Hospital seeks a Principal Pharmacist, Retail and Pricing to lead pricing strategy and retail operations within the hospital pharmacy.

You will oversee pricing structures, collaboration with ALPS purchasing, and management of Retail Assistants while ensuring compliance, service excellence, and cost optimisation across the retail portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Postgraduate qualifications in hospital pharmacy or management (MBA or PharmD).
• Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Retail Assistant’s productivity in topping up, merchandising, housekeeping, handling customer enquiries and cashiering related activities.
• Handle customer enquiries and requests for specific products not available in retail pharmacy.
• Evaluate customer feedback and plans for improvement. Ensure Retail Assistant comply to and observe service ethics.
• Review and improve retail operation workflow in regards to ordering, returning goods and matters relating to enhance retail operation.
• Ensure that pharmacy stocks are kept in good condition and comply to shelf-life parameters.
• Monitor closely the financial and service performances of the retail operations.
