Job summary

A reputable healthcare company in Singapore is seeking a skilled Pharmacist / Senior Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities include dispensing medications, managing inventory, overseeing pharmacy operations, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate holds a Pharmacy degree, is registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council, and has at least 3-5 years of clinical experience. Job Description

As a Pharmacist / Senior Pharmacist, you will provide pharmaceutical care services to ensure optimal patient outcomes, manage medication inventory, and ensure safe, accurate, and legally compliant dispensing of medications. You will help oversee daily pharmacy operations and contribute to the profitability and performance of the pharmacy.

Location: Western region
Salary Range: $4,200 – $7,000

Gov healthcare benefits : AWS + 2-3 months performance bonus + Allowance + Yearly increment !!!!

Working Hours: 42 hours per week, 5.5-day work week with staggered start times

Monday–Friday:

  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday:

  • 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
  • 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
  • 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Duties & Responsibilities

1. Professional Services

  • Ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medications to patients.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians in medication preparation, labelling, and dispensing.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and protocols related to drug dispensing and controlled drugs.
  • Clarify prescription ambiguities with prescribers.
  • Identify, assess and resolve drug-related problems; provide appropriate drug therapy recommendations.
  • Counsel patients on medication use, interactions, side effects, storage, and adherence.

2. Inventory Management

  • Ensure proper storage, security, and disposal of medications according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Conduct stock take
  • Prepare incident reports (e.g., cold chain breaches).

3. Staff Training & Development

  • Orient and induct new pharmacy technicians and assistants.
  • Train pharmacy students and pharmacy technician trainees.
  • Conduct training sessions to ensure continuous education requirements are met.

4. Administration

  • Assist the Clinic Pharmacy Manager in administrative and operational duties.
  • Maintain pharmacy records: patient profiles, controlled drug registries, inventory files.
  • Assist with manpower scheduling.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure retail product displays follow planograms.

5. Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and MOH advisories.
  • Maintain required documentation for all regulatory standards.

6. General Duties

  • Coach and supervise team members.
  • Participate in workplace improvement projects.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Degree in Pharmacy
  • Registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council
  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience
