Job summary

AWWA LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join a dynamic trans-disciplinary Allied Health team. The role focuses on pediatric speech therapy within educational settings, helping clients aged 7-18 participate in home and community activities.

You will assess needs, develop therapy programmes, apply evidence-based practices, and collaborate with therapists, social workers and psychologists. Workshops for stakeholders are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Master in Speech Pathology required.
• Eligible to register with the Allied Health Professions Council in Singapore as full registrant.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the individual needs of clients and formulate, develop and implement appropriate individualized/group therapy programmes.
• Apply evidence-based practices in the intervention programme for clients.
• Keep updated of development and research in pediatric speech therapy.
• Be part of the trans-disciplinary team of therapists, social workers and psychologists in the programme.
• Conduct workshops and training for internal and external stakeholders.
