Job summary

A major airport services provider in Singapore is seeking a Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll processing. Responsibilities include ensuring timely and accurate salary payments, verifying allowances, and preparing statutory filings. The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting/Finance/HRM and at least 3 years of payroll experience in Singapore. Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential for this role.

Job description

Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate salary payment all employees

Process salary computation for new hires and resigned employees and update the necessary payment data

Verify expenses, shift allowance, overtime and other allowances before final salary payout

Update the year-to-date records before the commencement of next monthly payroll cycle

Ensure statutory claims (e.g NSMen, maternity/paternity/shared parental/childcare leaves) are submitted promptly

Prepare and submit statutory filings such as CPF and Income Tax accurately and timely

Compile statutory and statistical information, ad-hoc reports and surveys as required

Prepare computations for salary adjustments such as promotions, annual increment and bonuses

Liaise with employees, management, internal and external auditors on payroll-related queries

Support any process and system improvement initiatives

Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures

Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head

Requirements

Degree/ Diploma in Accounting/Finance/HRM from a recognized tertiary institution

Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Singapore payroll

Knowledge of Singapore statutory payments

Meticulous and strong attention to details

Strong communication skills and ability to manage various stakeholders across the organisation

Able to handle payroll for 1800 headcount and tight deadlines

Working knowledge of SAP Payroll is a plus
