Job summary

A healthcare organization in Singapore is seeking a State Registered Nurse to coordinate and implement care plans for patients with life-limiting illnesses. Qualifications

What you will do

The incumbent coordinates and implements a care plan for the patients with life limiting illnesses referred to HCA. The incumbent must have a strong base of knowledge to act both as a specialist and a generalist nurse. He or She must demonstrate the ability to apply nursing theory into practice. The incumbent is a role model for other nurses, volunteers and caregivers. He or She will also be a public educator to raise hospice awareness.

The incumbent works in collaboration with members of an interdisciplinary team in a setting which provides seamless medical and nursing care, pain and symptom management and compassionate support for their patients and families.

Who you are
  • State Registered Nurse with a valid Practising Certificate issued by Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) with at least 3 years of working experience
  • Experience in Oncology or Palliative Care will be an advantage
  • Nurses with paediatric experience are also welcome to apply
  • Multi-tasker who is passionate about providing holistic care for patients in their home environment
  • Highly independent and reliable, and able to make clinical judgements in a home-care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable with interacting with people in all walks of life
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to communicate with patients of different races

Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
