Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of opto‑mechanical design experience.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, or photonics preferred.
• Proficient with CAD and FEA tools (SolidWorks/Creo; ANSYS/COMSOL).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and integration of opto‑mechanical subsystems for laser and electro‑optic systems.
• Perform tolerance, structural and thermal analyses to ensure robustness.
• Oversee fabrication, assembly and alignment for field readiness; manage prototyping and testing.
• Collaborate with system, electronics and optical engineers to meet performance requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for CM and standards.
