Job summary

AMT Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Senior Operations Manager to lead contract manufacturing programs from NPI through mass production. The role integrates Production, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Supply Chain to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

You will drive cross-functional excellence, coordinate customer reviews, and push continuous improvement to optimize capacity and performance in a high-precision medical device environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing, or Operations Management.
• 8–10 years of medical device manufacturing experience, including 3–5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, supply chain, and cost control.
• Hands-on with NPI, product transfer, process validation, capacity planning and ramp-up.
• Experience in ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for contract manufacturing programs and deliver objectives.
• Own safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, capacity, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet production plans and shipments.
• Plan manpower, equipment, tooling, materials, and capacity to support demand.
• Address shortages, constraints, quality concerns, and delivery risks proactively.
• Serve as operational contact for customers with regular reviews on performance and actions.
• Lead NPI, product transfer, validation, ramp-up, and mass production readiness.
• Drive improvements in cycle time, line balance, yield, OEE, and scrap reduction.
