Job Description
The Senior Team Lead – Operations will oversee the daily operational activities of the staffing business, ensuring efficient service delivery, compliance, and team performance. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, managing workforce deployment, and supporting strategic initiatives to meet client and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and supervise a team of Operations team members.
- Conduct regular work audits to ensure data accuracy & proper reporting.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Operational Oversight
- Manage end-to-end staffing operations including candidate onboarding, deployment, timesheet & Leave management and Exit.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) for HR & Billing operations delivery.
- Ensure data accuracy across systems used by the operations team. Implement data governance on maintaining consistency.
Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process enhancements using new systems, tools & introduce AI as part of this enhancement initiative leading to operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve operations delivery.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, employment laws, and internal policies.
- Mitigate operational risks through proactive planning and issue resolution.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a point of escalation for issues and operational challenges.
- Support cross-department initiatives involving operations involvement.
Technology & Reporting
- Utilize staffing software and tools to manage operations and generate reports.
- Analyse data for leadership to make informed decision and strategic planning.
Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR or related field.
Required experience:
- Around 8 years of experience in staffing operations, with at least 2 years in a team lead role.
- Strong understanding of Singapore’s labour laws and staffing industry practices.
- Proficiency in operational tools and workforce management systems.
- Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with high-volume staffing or temp workforce management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
